If you wanted further proof Project CARS is probably the best looking racing game on the planet, you should A) have been paying more attention, and B) check out this lovely new trailer of Slightly Mad Studios’ slightly incredible Project CARS. The focus this time around is on the humble Renault Clio. Now, I actually had one of these as my first car, and what a fine machine it was. The upshot of this is that I can actually talk about a car in a racing game and almost make it seem like I know what I’m talking about. Just don’t ask me what a power inverter is. It definitely looks a lot like my Renault Clio, but I can’t tell you with any definitive accuracy whether that’s how they handle while crushing it around a racetrack at 120mph. Whatever the case, Project CARS is looking more and more like the real deal for sim racing fans, promising to be one of the most technically-advanced and authentic racing games we’ve ever seen.
Project CARS will be hitting PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One come mid-May. Revving your engine on the starting line?
