Spiders and Focus Home Interactive are back with another role-playing game set to hit PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Fresh off the back of 2014’s Bound in Flame, Spiders has announced The Technomancer, a post-apocalyptic RPG set in a cyberpunk world.
Set on the Red Planet during the War of Water, the titular Technomancer is under scrutiny for his shadowy past, on the run from the Secret Police and thrust out into the dangerous wilderness of Mars. He must embark on a quest beneath Mars’ surface, through tribal communes, ice-encased cities, and sprawling dystopian cities.
As a Technomancer, the protagonist is not only a mighty warrior but also has access to a wide range of cybernetically enhanced magical abilities, capable of manipulating the technology around him. There’ll be four different skill trees with which to customise your character, alongside three unique fighting styles to specialise, as well as electric-focus Technomancer attacks.
The Technomancer is slated for a 2016 release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Tempted back by another Spiders project? Or did you find Bound By Flame a bit of a dud?
