The wraps are coming off Star Wars Battlefront later today at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, California. Ahead of the full reveal though, those prowling around the source code of EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront have managed to pry out a firm release date from the News and Media Page.
Disney also released a new trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, which is massive news in itself, but tucked towards the end of the trailer is a Star Wars: Battlefront teaser clip. In case you hadn’t guessed, it’s looking incredible, with DICE’s Dennis Brännvall promising this is actual gameplay footage.
If you’re not interested in the movie trailer, you crazy fool you, then you can skip straight to 1:48 or so, where the Star Wars Battlefront teaser trailer is playing in the left-hand window.
Right, anyway, back to that release date announcement you’ve been waiting for. Star Wars Battlefront will be available on November 17th, 2015, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Plenty of time to get playing ahead of The Force Awaken’s December opening. Let the hype begin
