If slicing and dicing zombies is more your thing than driving over hookers, then you’ll be delighted to know Techland has pushed out the developer tools for Dying Light, allowing users to create their own custom content.
The potential here for insane custom scenarios is through the roof, with Techland demonstrating a zombie-filled hedge maze, an explosive barrel mount, undead football, and drop-kicking zombies off cliff-faces, just to name a few.
Like all the other mod creation tools you’ll be able to find them in the tools section of your Steam library, and with a bit of development knowhow these will allow for the creation of custom scenarios and stories for Dying Light, and the production of brand-new maps to rampage around in.
"We plan to release more in-depth videos in the coming weeks to showcase more advanced capabilities of our tools," Techland wrote.
"As always, we're restlessly waiting for your feedback. Our Developer Tools will be regularly expanded with new possibilities and updates, so what you say and what you create do matter to us. If there's anything particular that you want to see corrected, speak up!"
Are you going to get creating in Dying Light? What crazy ideas are you hoping to see get made?
