Leaked Screens Of Windows 10 Build 10125 Demonstrate Cosmetic Changes

While the Windows 10 Technical Preview has been in the hands of many PC gamers for months now, it’s been anything but the finished product. Updates are rolling out thick and fast as we barrel towards the operating system’s anticipated summer launch, and these latest leaked screenshots from Windows 10 build 10125 give us a good idea of what to expect from Microsoft’s latest OS.

This latest build isn’t expected to roll out into a public release, so most of the changes here we won’t be seen until Windows 10 launches officially. A number of tweaks here are cosmetic, with new icons for folders, drives and more, as well as changes to the appearance of the Taskbar and File Explorer.

The Start menu has been given a bit of a shuffle as well. Clicking on the All Apps section will now give you an alphabet, allowing you to quickly jump to specific sections without scrolling. You can check out all the cosmetic changes for yourself in the screens below.

As you can see there's a fair few minor alterations, with Microsoft clearly adjusting the finer points in the run up to the imminent release. The tweaked icons certainly create a more cohesive look, with Windows 10 sitting on a pleasant middle ground between Windows 7 and Windows 8.
