Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, is set to begin on May 28. While the two-day event is primarily for developers to get time with Google’s latest software, and attend workshops with Google engineers, it’s also popular with tech fans. Google usually shares news on new products, new versions of its software, and often, cool surprises we weren’t even expecting. We’re hoping 2015 will be no different, and in anticipation we’ve put together a roundup of all the news and rumors ahead of Google’s I/O 2015’s opening day.
This is where the magic is sure to happen. Google’s past keynote presentations have achieved epic spectacles — remember skydivers introducing Google Glass? — and epic runtimes. Last year’s keynote stretched itself to nearly two-and-a-half hours. Depending on your level of interest and involvement with Google, it’s a show that can be packed with fascinating developments and news.
May 28, 9:30 a.m. PST
The 2015 keynote is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. PST on May 28, and the event will be live streamed for us all to enjoy. Google’s President of Products, Sundar Pichai, is down to open the show, but expect appearances from many other Google executives before it’s all over.
