Apple capped off its announcement of new features in iOS 9 with information about timing — the public beta will become available in July, followed by a full launch this fall.
Oh, and if you’re wondering whether the new software will actually work on your phone, Apple says iOS 9 will work on any device that supports iOS 8. You can see the full list in the photo above (from Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference) — on the low end, it starts with iPad 2 and iPhone 4s.
